Opinions on garage storage and organization systems like gladiator? I’ve acquired quite a few drills and things over the years and Im looking to clean up a bit with things like wall mounted drill hangers and charging stations, rakes, extension cords, etc. Anyone have good or bad experiences?

Rubbermaid fasttrack rails are a great product LINK

If you have a few drills and you like to build shite, make yourself a wooden drill organizer (plans here). Fun/easy to build and really functional, here’s mine:

Gladiator is decent but I'm not a fan of hanging up tools. I have a heavy duty 3 drawer cabinet that I store a ton of stuff; small air compressor, electric saws, etc. I can't even find it or anything like it anymore.

sounds like you have a bunch of tools and are possibly a little mechanically inclined. i would point you in the direction of designing and building your own storage system similar to what some other posters have said. Nothing you buy will be perfect for what you have.

if it's just for hanging stuff, yeah, one of those rail systems will work. If it's a charging, drill hanging station, i would diy. not hard at all.

google or pintrest what you want like "drill and charger storage" then design something for what you have.

Personally, I've gone full-on french cleat. I find making custom holders works better than trying to force my tools to fit some other configuration that I don't find efficient.

I do employ these fabricated M18 battery and tool mounts into my holders.

Admittedly my garage is not a show piece but I have found used latteral file cabinets to be a pretty good system and I have them in my work shop and garage. I have picked them up for next to nothing on facebook market place. For example I have my chainsaw with all the gear like helmet, bar oil spare chains and sharpener in one drawer, drills in another, circular saws, etc.

I also have several of the office style two door cabinets also from marketplace.

$60 cabinet example
