should i just get the attachment?
any experience either way? i honestly didn't realize i had a power head+ b/c i got the pole saw in the rummage stack at the dirty chicken.
any pros cons either way?

i don't understand. you have the power head that accepts attachments?
if so, just get the attachment.

didnt have it when i bought the first string trimmer. seems like the way to go (aka cheaper) but didn't know if i was going to be compromising anything by going w/ the power head version.

Powerhead is the way to go. Helps loading string with ease. I'm not sure how much of a weight difference there is between carbon vs. standard pole.
