Fortunately, my attic door is in the garage. I often leave it and a garage door cracked open in the summer to allow a draft through there to the whirlybirds.

I have an attic door in the garage and in a hallway inside the house. It's actually kind of nice to have both locations as an option to access the attic.

Mine was shaped more like a teepee tent but I thought it made a positive worthwhile difference
