Quartz also can become discolored if exposed to excessive uv light so it shouldn’t be used outdoors.

I have white countertops throughout my home. Quartz in the kitchen and marble in the bathroom and the quartz looks a lot better to me than the marble does, but to each his own

Right now Quartzite is what 95% of our buyers are putting in their homes, kitchen and baths.

I agree. I wanted quartzite in my home but the neighborhood just can’t justify the cost. We went with a granite that looks like most quartzite they are putting in now for about half the cost. Win/win.

What do you like about the look of the quartz? You don't find it looks artificial?
