Converting baseboard heaters to cove heaters

New-to-us house has electric baseboard heat and planning to convert them all to cove heat instead. I'm extremely comfortable with running the electric lines up the wall and the installation of the cove units but just curious if anyone else here has ever done this and was it worthwhile in efficiency gains?

Do any homes South of the Mason Dixon line have baseboard heaters?

Some do, but I haven't lived in the South for 30 yrs

Quick search online...as I didn't know what a cove heater was...puts efficiency at 10-20% better than conventional heat.
I put some infrared heaters under my deck for a Christmas party, mounted at the top of the wall. It was enclosed. They were good sized.
You had to be under them to really feel the heat.
