Cleanout break off

How screwed am I? Kitchen sink started backing up. Went to try to use the auger to clear out the clean out....
Slight twist on the cap, and the pipe breaks off at the brick. What am I looking at for repairs?

Can you access the backside of that brick

Kitchen cabinets/sink are on the other side. It's accessable, but I'll need to pull out the back panel

That looks like it was held on by the pipe clamp in the first pic?

If it were me I would access that and then replace with a new plumbing grade PVC pipe. Probably can knock that piece out from the brick.

Put a test plug in the opening. You could spray paint it a color that kind of matches the brick if you want to pretty it up

Damn good eye. I didn't even see that.
Was wondering how it popped off with such little effort

That will ultimately be my plan, was hoping I could hold off on changing that out for 3-5 years when I go to add a bathroom on that side of the house. Will have to redo all the plumbing anyway, 2" in the kitchen
