I am not very good with this type of stuff, and I really hate changing weed eater line. I was wondering if any of you have purchased an off brand head to change the original from so that i can either have a quick line change head or more sturdy plastic blade type.
Anyone with experience in this?

Grass Gator
They also make one with the plastic blades, but you get more life out of these metal ones that are on the Brush Cutter model. I've bought both over the years. Not sure an electric will have the torque to spin these though. I have a 4 cycle gas trimmer and it has no problems. I'm going to go electric when this one dies though.
