Looking for seasoned firewood for this winter in Lafayette. Any recommendations?

Don’t make the mistake of Daniel green firewood. It wasn’t seasoned and the pieces were too large. Best to make your own if you have the time and effort

If you have the means, people post cut up but not split wood down all the time for the taking. No recs on local truly dried firewood. What I have noticed though is the smaller towns north of laffy have wood for half the price of the Lafayette area.

There is a guy right off of the Evangeline Thwy before Pinhook who I used to use every year before I moved. Good guy will deliver.

He moves a ton of firewood!

My usual suppliers were out of stock one year at the peak of the season and I bought from him. His price is high at $250 for a 4x8 load.

Everyone else charges $150.
