I tried to reglaze mine after the flood. It looked great for about a month and then started to chip and flake. I paid a guy to come professionally do them.

I’m fairly handy, renovated the entire house. Thought I had done a great prep job on my tub. Chipping/flaking only took a few weeks. Get it professionally done right the first time.

We had a green tub epoxied 5 years ago, still looks good. No chips, scratches, or anything. It was a 50's cast iron tub and we were not ready to remodel bathrooms, but we didn't want the green, and well it was gross looking. We planned on remodeling bathrooms, but the wife wants a new house, so we are looking for land to build on instead of sinking money into the current house.

Works like a charm no lie. I did the HOMAX in a condo rental we have and it came out far better than expected.
