Hey, i had a few dead rats in a new house attic. It sat empty for a while but the only issue was a few dead rats. There is poop and piss long some areas and on the air conditioner units and among soe of the insulation.

After getting some quotes, is it necessarily to remove all insulation, sanitize, then put new insulation or can you just have it spot cleaned?

Has anyone done it themselves and just paid to have it sanitized at all?

I wouldn’t imagine you have to replace everything. Get a wet/dry vac up there and cleanup as much as you can. See if there is a disinfecting spray you can use up there

Yea hardest part for me is making sure i get it all though, no telling where else those little bastards went.

Any specific product to use for sanitization besides just bleach water?
