Is is time to spray Atrazine on my yard as a pre-emergent? I'm trying to get ahead of the weeds that will rear their heads in March.

Yes. If Bermuda or Zoysia make sure they are dormant before applying. Weather this week should take care of that if have any doubts.

It's too late to prevent early spring grassy weeds. Apply in late February to prevent summer weeds.

Atrazine also is not an effective pre-emergent.

What type do you buy??? I've only used atrazine+ethofumesate to suppress common Bermuda.
