I've searched and read to the point that I'm confused about what to do. In central TX, Bermuda has started to green up. I bought the Clegg's ingredients but had to leave town and I believe it's too late now?

Will be my first time spraying anything and we've been here 7 years. This winter the weeds went apeshit. Can barely even find any bermuda right now. There must be every type of weed and grass growing.

Can anything be done now or do I need to wait? Will scalping the weeds with the mower help or hurt?

TIA

spray with weed free zone and surfactant. don't use atrazine since it's not meant for green bermuda.

i say that since you have the weed free zone as noted. Other options are MSMTurf or Celsuis. Or the grandaddy of the all, nuclear Armageddon MSMA.

Don't cut it and spray your Weed Free Zone if you already have that or just 2,4-D before it gets hot.

Thanks for replies. I also have some Prodiamine. Is that any help now or too late? If not too late can it be mixed in with Weed Free Zone?

Better to put it down late than not at all.

Personally I wouldn't mix, just my opinion. I suppose if you're doing a full broadcast spray, you could but I would just do them separate if it were me.

It’s not too late and you can certainly spray them together. They do different things and won’t affect each other. I spray Celsius and prodiamine all the time.
