If you drain a metal tank completely for storage rust can build up in the tank. It will eventually make it down into the carb and clog it up. Happened on my Honda 6500
Leave some gas with stabil during storage.

Be sure its full of oil. Some wont start if oil is low. My ryobi 6500 is like that. Top off the oil
