Curious who all does this top engine clean process (Seafoam spray, etc). Few questions do you do it yourself, Dealer, how often? Is it necessary?

You talking about putting something in the engine or what? I am not sure what you are asking.

Where you spray top engine cleaner in at the intake. It’s a process I’ve seen on YouTube. Cleans off all the carbon deposits.

I have 265k miles on my 2012 5.3L and have never done that..

The only time I spray something in the intake is to clean any residual dirt off the intake throttle blade if it feels sticky. There may be options to spray down the intake to clean any carbon build up off the valves and cylinders but the MUCH easier option is seafoam, Lucas, etc poured into the gas tank when filling up.

It's very easy to DIY. It's also not completely necessary but will help a bit vs. doing nothing at all. Doing oil changes regularly and standard timely maintenance will do enough to ensure engine longevity.

2014 plus is direct inject. No fuel passes over the intake valves. That’s why they get dirty.

The old mopar combustion chamber cleaner isn't sold anymore for on road. But, you can get it at any yamaha shop.
Pull plugs. Spray. Wait. Bump. Return plugs. Start and run. Change oil and plugs.
Or.... Buy two cans of berrymans. Dump into empty tank and fill with fuel. Drive entire tank like you stole the truck. Done.
