Why did my investigative thread get whacked?

The post to get my moms phone back that was stolen got deleted. Admins why did this happen? The comments throughout were clean

Oh okay I thought if it was criminals and such it was okay, like in the Domino's killer thread. Lesson learned. Thanks for the info!

Was just thinking of the most recent thread I had seen. The Indiana pizza girl reporter also has her Facebook linked to the thread on PT which is over 20 pages. Just wishing there were rules on whose information we can post because obviously there are many instances where that rule doesn't apply.

You posted a private person's info on here .. You played judge, jury, and executioner .. No one knows if this was actually the person that stole the phone .. It's just your word .. It's pretty simple .. If you had that info and truly believed that was the perp, go after the guy yourself rather than being a ginormous pussy and hoping a bunch of Anon wanna bes would do your dirty work for you .. It's a fricking iPhone ..
