On rare occasions I have seen some posts appear at the top. I assumed these posts were "suggested" by either an admin or because of the likes.

A poll option would bring a ton of traffic to this board...
But it should be used sparingly.
Like you only get one poll to post every 60 days or something.

we have a poll feature for home page but we control that...
we are using up votes to get the best forum content to home page and under each forum...you dig?
