You need to go to malwarebytes.org and downloand and run the free version...you may have malware on your computer...please do that and let me know if it finds anything.

did you get it on the main index of the board, or when you were going into a thread?
Also, how many clicks did you have on the site before you got the issue?

Going into a thread.

About four or five after I got on the site.

which thread? can you go into the same thread and recreate the issue?
Posted on 9/12/09 at 12:56 pm to Chicken
No, I haven't had it happen since then. Actually the thread was the fourth page on one of my blogs. I haven't seen it again.

when you got the error today, what exactly happened? were you redirected to another page?

Can't really remember most of that stuff, Chicken. Sorry. I just remember coming onto the site and after like a minute stuff started popping up. I don't think I got redirected because I looked at my history about the time it happened and didn't see anything. That malware program said I had one threat. hijack.displayproperties FWIW, that thing only popped up that once on this site. Hasn't happened again.

Happened to me today.
I just refreshed the MSB page and it attacked.
I have mcafee and ran it.

next time, please do a screen shot so I can know what exactly is happening.

there had better not be a next time if you catch my drift.

From the main page > political talk > specific page (3) on thread.
The malware acted like it was scanning my computer with the TD site faded in the background. Cancelling the "scan" caused my web browser to close and I had to open IE back up and come back to TD.
If it happens again I'll screen shot it for you.
