Admins - While it was a very good win for LSU at Florida, one win does not absolve our leaders from their previous mistakes. The Take Action thread was anchored, and I respectfully request that it be un-anchored. Discussion has been very civil and straight-forward, and there's no reason for the thread to be anchored. The discussion and engagement process is very important in getting LSU athletics to where we all want it to be.

I understand it being anchored for a short window after the win to avoid the back-and-forth "what ya think now" nonsense, but in the long run I think it's all information that the fanbase as a whole should have quick access to. Not to mention it serves as a one-stop place so that Fire Alleva threads don't litter the board. It will help keep that all in one spot.

Infinitely more important than the actual coaching or the performance of the athletic director.

I've always kinda wondered if people thought their whining on The Rant made a difference. They do!

Trust me, if done correctly, it absolutely does. I know for a fact there people on payroll at LSU who are responsible For monitoring online stuff. It's pretty common for all schools now.

And FWIW, TD is one of the highest trafficked sports message boards in the country, no joke.

Well, if true, that's unfortunate. Ranters lose their ever-loving minds on a regular basis. I would hope those people wouldn't take all the complaining seriously. Heck, during baseball season, you can see "Fire Mainieri" threads on a regular basis and many people agreeing with the OP. It's absolutely insane.

I don't even know what goes on during football season b/c I stop reading The Rant after the first loss of each season. I don't want to read all that negativity but I can only imagine.
