Rummel, Idea: Hurricane Board

If a hurricane hits the SE area, can we make a hurricane board?
It'd be a good way for people to make and/or maintain contact and would be great PR and hits($) for TD.
But it's my idea.
This may hopefully speed up my admin application...

doubt that happens, we have 14(fourteen) boards already. IMO, we have enough

Oh. Okay. So if a hurricane strikes the area from Texas to Florida and people are scattered, missing, seeking some medium to make contact with family, friends and business associates, rather than provide a helpful service and also get $rich$ doing it, we should defer to the fricking "Food and drink" and other nearly-deserted boards??

Dude, I've been pushing for this since Katrina.
But, alas, Chicken says it's still behind the Unicorn Board...

the times picayune had a board like that. That was where most people went. I think consolidation is the answer. Better to have 1 emergency location, than everyone starting their own board for this purpose.

WTF??? I don't get too fired up about TD business, but that would be foolish, foolish to miss out on.
It could just be a seasonal board, and could go up as soon as things heat up in the Gulf. Even without any hurricane, it would get hits from existing members as well new members, although that's pretty speculative. But as soon as one formed, it would start buzzing. If one made landfall, especially affecting a lot of people, things could go through the roof.
