Question on "NFL Survior" contest

I noticed that some contestants have not chosen or made picks in all 7 weeks of NFL games and are still in the contest. Does this mean you do not have to make a pick in this contest each week in order to stay in the running?

Wouldn't they still be a game behind so their score would be back one or more games? The winner is at 7-0, if anyone had missed a week they would automatically be 6-0. As long as the people at 7-0 don't forget a week they shouldn't worry about people skipping weeks
