Question - Is there enough traffic/growth opportunity to justify a weather/flood board?

Considering how active spring tornado season has been for the gulf coast, the propensity of hurricanes and floods to impact TD's biggest geographic region.....would it be worth considering a Weather board?

I know we've done temporary ones in the past for major hurricanes and flood events.

There are a handful of posters that are legitimately knowledgeable about these things. A more focused board could also establish TD as a reliable, organized source of information and thus draw more contributions from other informed people on the topic.

We do have a handful of very informative, engaging threads that end up getting buried by other OT topics sometimes.

I'm guessing the answer will be to just continue following whatever mega-thread gets started on the OT by rds dc, Duke, etc., but I concur 100% and would enjoy such a board myself.

I've seen LegendInMyMind and others suggest it multiple times.

Probably will never happen though (as I assume it already would have).
