I downsized them to safe file size while stretching the dimensions a little more.

Thank you, Sentrius. 
I just looked at dimensions when sizing them. I made them on my iPad, with Pshop Touch, as I do most sig pics & avatars since it's easier for me to control a stylus when creating them. I didn't look at # of bytes. I'll start paying more attention to that.

I really do like it. Very cool. Love the coloring & shading, and the font is great, as well.

not sure what is wrong with my avi. I've downsized it several times (says it's down to 24 kb) and I'm using Imageshack and I even tried tinypic, but it keeps telling me "Your sig/avatar image is not hosted on an approved image hosting site. Please check both and update." Any help would be appreciated.

The avatar also can't have dimensions larger than 150 x 150, so check that, also.
I'm not sure if imageshack is an approved site anymore. Host through Imgur or Photobucket; they're approved sites. There are others, but I can't remember their names right now. There is a section on avatars & sig pics in the guidelines/faq that gives info on approved sites. I think they're listed.
