Password reset help

I am trying to reset password as I am setting up a new iPad and don't remember my old password. I requested and was sent a temp, and after putting it in (using the new iPad--I am still logged in on this old iPad as I didn't want to log out I case I have issues--I could log onto the help board), it tells me to enter a new password 7-10 characters.
When I do, it tells me "You did not complete all the required fields"....well, what are the required fields I am not meeting? That is all it keeps telling me. I have tried numerous combinations of letters, numbers, and symbols, and nothing seems to take.
What am I not doing right?

Nice try, everyone knows TD censors passwords when you type them in. Case in point, my password is:

I had this same problem.
I typed in everything correctly and it still said the same thing but it worked correctly.
