Ultimately it is up to the admins to enforce what they see as appropriate speech.

As those who enjoy my posts have noted, I have had multiple violent interactions with racists in Louisiana and Texas, because I would not stop enjoying the company of persons of color whom I happen to like.
I just remembered a good one. My mom had a black MD come to the house to see my sister who had chicken pox. That was in Lake Charles. the neighbors were full of piss and vinegar about THAT too. We were new to town, my dad being a pilot, and we were only there for him to deal with tactical nukes, the little B-47.
We didnt have a regular MD yet. Ah those were the days.
America, the land of the free, sort of. I was so glad to see Tex lose in the BCS champ game.

Just to clarify, I think what he said was at an inappropriate time to be said. But regardless, I do not think it's the job of posters to force the hands of the Admins.

So lets get this straight, you don't believe in capitalism? Chicken runs this site with the intent to make money, hence the advertising all over the place. The community as a whole is determining one of its posters as not "up to standards". If enough of these shitty posters are allowed to keep posting, people will move on to other forums, thus it is in Chicken's best interest as a free businessman to go after certain posters every now and then. I guess he should say screw making money and let any nut job with a pulse post any hate filled speech they want.

Learn the difference between speech on a private site with rules and public speech under the jurisdiction of the government.

good train of thought, however, 20% more people voted Against Obama than voted For Bush.(think about it)
what does that tell you? Polarizing figures are an asset for a media forum, I'll ask a question you can answer, why do you think the WWF had the Undertaker, King Kong Bundy, Nikolai Volkoff, Roddy Piper, Iron Sheik, etc,etc "bad guys" who win?
