I believe this thread needs to have a sticky. The two issues discussed are likely the two largest potential threats to democracy frm within our own country most of us will ever see in our lifetimes.
Both issues are yet unresolved. One seems to be unfolding in a hurry.
Is there political partisanship in the thread? Yes. But we can't sensor people's right to free speech. We can allow a definitive timeline about both issues to remain stickied until resolved.

I concur. In the same way people are forced by courts to wear sandwich boards, this should be stickied.
