The ability to just click a button to hide certain threads so you can't even see them. Get on it.
Thanks in advance.

Not clicking on threads you don't want to read is hard

I, for one, think this would be a really cool feature.
My TD experience would be better if I could hide the IM, frat level, and fat/cop/pitbull hate threads.
However, I think I may have a better chance at winning the power-ball than this getting implemented.
Nevertheless, solid suggestion.

How would this help at all?
I would only see the threads that I am interested in.
Not that hard of a concept to understand.

Exactly.
Lunch Thread on the OT? GTFO.
"ESPN Sucks" thread on the MSB? GTFO.
"Rate my team" thread on the FSB? GTFO.
Tiger Rant? GTFO.

So rather, a feature that allows you to block certain threads from popping up using a word or phrase? It would be just more trouble to "collapse" a thread and have them pile up.. plus with ~10 threads on one board being active at a time.. you might be bumping dormant threads that have no business being brought back up.
I think maybe a better, similar, idea would be the ability to add threads to a personalized board just for yourself. Like an add or subtract feature.

Hell, I'd settle for a personalized sticky that you can attach to each thread you are interested in, and would in turn keep those threads at the top of your feed.

Yeah.. something that helps you keep track of the threads you're interested in.. I just think a collapse feature would do very little to help.

Sweet subtle hint at a Reds Board.

Seems like a lot more work than scrolling.

You forgot about the 47 Drake/rap threads on the Music Board

Sounds like a lot of work for the admins so it probably won't happen

Fantasy baseball threads should always be on the first page.

Or if users could anchor threads just for them.
Same basic concept.
