New Board suggestion - Prayer Board

I think it’s been mentioned several times before- but I would love to have a specific place for folks to request prayers and if they wanted to- could post updates on the things we’d all be praying for.
I don’t mind the prayer requests being on the OT- I just think it would be an easy way to keep up with all the requests and updates.
Anywho… just a thought.

Okay so asked around. OT Lounge accepts prayers. You might not like their response but you are welcome to pray there.

My first prayer will be for a WNBA board so the MSB will stop being filled with nothing but WNBA crap.

I think so too- or maybe it should be an exclusive access board so that trolls, bots, alters and asshats are prohibited and could not make a mess of it.

Exactly... there are definite personalities that specifically seek out posts by religious/spiritual/believers and have fun crapping on held beliefs.
It has derailed many a thread. I can't think of that one cat's handle at the moment, but there is a very particular poster that adores dropping into religious threads and spams a metric ton of scripture and commentary to prove the dumbass Christians wrong.
Is is squirrelmeister? I'm not sure... but it's methed up, all the same.
Edit to add.. it is definitely SquirrelMeister derailing the faith based threads.

I like when the OT comes together and rallies/prays for other posters who are vulnerable enough to share things that are important to them...and I think that I cannot be the only person who often wonders what ever happened later or what was the end result. And not in a nosey way- but of genuine concern.
Could be just me though, what do I know?
