Oh, well in that case follow these steps:
Go to Help board.
Fill out proper forms.
Make appeal to the general population.
Endure ridcule.
Be denied.
Suffer through the HORROR of having to have 2 different names for your miserable e-life.

I would re-register but the site doesn't allow free email service providers AND I can't figure out how to create another ATT email account.
Excellent way to get both names banned. FYI.

Why would doing any of this get them banned?

Wafer means well, but he gets confused on the rules sometimes. Thus why he's an admin in waiting. Create away.

There is a reason why the only acceptable emails are ISP emails. People who were previously banned were signing up with new usernames to continue posting(GCS and Alexa, I'm looking at Y O U). This would result in the banning of the alter account and the continued ban of the original account.
If you were to start a second account, the new and old accouts would be banned.
My question is, after over 10,000 posts and over three years of posting, why a change now?
ETA sorry Flair, that would've been too easy to let him get the hammer.....

Looking back, we should've told him to re-register and post a thread announcing who he was so everyone would know.
Then the hammer would've been dropped. My bad.

Oh. Couldn't you just IP ban them?
Just cause this is an old name and I'm tired of the numbers behind it.

just let it go. it's not happening. your reasons aren't valid enough.
name changes are granted occasionally if you have personal info attached to it, but i doubt your last name is filmmaker, so just deal with it.

I was just answering his question

My request from "mmm sicboy" to just "sicboy" went through pretty quickly, and I didn't have that great of a reason. I think if you keep the general name intact and want to remove prefixes or numbers, it sometimes flies.

I also emailed them at the link at the bottom, "contact us".

I had you specifically in mind when I added that.
