I've noticed an anomaly in the up/down vote system

For the OP the tallies appear in the top right hand corner of the post. For all subsequent posts, the tallies appear in the bottom right hand corner. I think they should either all be at the top or all be at the bottom to make it uniform. SIHHAATT (sorry if Hugo has already addressed this topic)

It is rather confusing. I always feel like I'm seeing double when I'm trying to upvote/downvote posts.
