How are some people able to post on locked boards who are not admins?

I see this pretty regularly. Like the guy on the SEC Rant just now, and I'm curious to know why that happens.

If is a new thread then it was probably moved there from another board.

They type a post before the board closes, then hit submit hours later. They are so cool.

What possible benefit comes from posting on a locked board? It's doubtful that anybody will read it.

So when it becomes unlocked their thread is first, as in the case yesterday where the thread on the sec rant was some anti-florida smack talk.
