Gif spamming?

Quick question.... I received a PM regarding “gif spamming” when it involved players entering the transfer portal or quitting on the team all together. “Quit with the gif spamming” to be exact. This was not on every single thread, just ones pertaining to players transferring.
Now I do remember several instances where certain posters, who will not be named, did the same exact thing right after the election on the election board AND during the Riley fiasco on the coaches changing board. Why is it that this is any different?
