Dallas watch party location inside (pleas move back to Rant)

Yeah that was weird, I was waiting on answer for a couple of questions I had... Why dodies over Sherlock's and what time to get there for a good seat

I've been going to Sherlocks for years, here is why I'm pumped Dodies Reef (big one on lower Greenville) is an official watch party now.

1. Sherlocks sticks us in the back bar, does nothing to promote LSU (music, wearing purple/gold, ect...) Dodies has us in the whole downstairs, the staff wears team colors and cheers for LSU with you, they play the fight song and all that stuff (alma matter after the game too).

2. Sherlocks has cover bands playing in the same place as the LSU game afterwards. So halfway through the game they stet setting up, flashing strobe lights, walking in front of the screen (constantly). At every commercial break and sometimes during the game they start hitting the drums, testing the mikes, it's really annoying. Also if they are popular or the game runs past 10 people start showing up, gathering in front of the screen, taking people seats, and generally distracting you from the game. A few years ago these people started actively yelling against LSU (vs Bama) and stealing people seats and drinks on purpose because they wanted us to leave. As soon as the game was over we were basically forced out.

3. Sherlocks has one girl trying to serve all the LSU fans. I feel bad for her but she ends up providing bad service because she is overwhelmed. At Dodies the whole place is designed to serve LSU fans

4. Dodies is in a better location, can fit more people, have Abita on draft, and is just a better atmosphere.

Dodies is great, but Sherlocks has some dam fine honies


its probably best though, dont need distractions

Maybe I'm getting old. Back in the day sherlocks on the weekend had tail for days
