Chicken: Black History Month Request

I want to do a small series of threads entitled "Moment in Black History:!" Each thread will have a black historical figure that I will have a brief summary of.
I will simply do 2 entries per week. So that means 8 threads total in February.
I would really appreciate if you allowed this. Thank you.
PS. Originally I wanted to do one for each day, but I figured 28 threads would be too spam like.

That's why there's racism in this country. Why can't black history be folded in to just plain ole history like everything else?
