Book club/board?

I know I'll get mocked on here for this but everyone on here likes to pretend to be more intelligent than they really are.
Maybe a board where tigerdroplings can suggest and discuss books that they are reading or have read. Just a thought.
I'm not saying it will be a huge traffic board but it would be a cool idea with little maintenance.

I read enough regurgitated bullshite on the Poliboard. Please don't do this to me.

I'm just always looking for a good book. You don't have to read people opinion's but may stumble on a good book to read.
And I know I like talking about the book I read afterwards but have to chase down readers on other sites to have a discussion about the book.

Golf board should have already been made. Why hasn't it? I just figured the admins hated golf.

Maybe you could just start a thread on the OT and get a sticky

Stickied thread wouldn't work. Too cluttered to have a discussion on too many books.
I feel bad enough asking about book requests every few months... Then nobody would want to see a cluster of book threads bc everyone wouldn't be reading the same books all the time. Just figured people could comment/discuss what other people would read, discuss authors, upcoming books, poetry (since we have some poets and authors on here).
I agree it probably wouldn't work with the people on here. Like I said, everyone pretends that they're so smart and full of culture. Just a thought.

I was thinking more along the lines of a "book club"
Y'all pick a book, then read and have discussions on only that book.

yea this is a terrible idea. the few book threads that do pop up go a few pages and then die
