Best DIY Board Under the TD.com Umbrella??

Is there a board that is the one that should be for random DIY projects assistance, discuss best way to do xyz, etc? Heck doesnt have to be just for home, but any kind of "How to...?" that might not fit under specifically titled boards.

Ie...currently looking for best approach on clean rust off chrome coated shelving. sometimes googling this shite gets annoying, and rather trust posters on here than some guy trying to push some product.

Sometimes I just dont know what some of these boards original "charter" are intended for.
