Damn, we've tried pretty much everything too. Nothing has worked and I put the hitman pro off because it wouldn't allow me to try it for free. I already spent a lot on updating Mcafee.

This virus grows stronger everyday it seems. Like teh ades. One day it just won't allow me to access my University G-mail or google anything...other days the computer just shuts down completely in the middle of me typing. Then it may work fine for a few minutes and a frick-up reoccurs out of nowhere.

any other suggestions? Should I bite the bullet and pay for the Hitman pro? This is the 2nd major virus we've had since December. Mother. fricker.
