Admin, I noticed people being banned, then returning.

If we do mess up(Jackson family) how long are the sentences dished out. Some posters are back soon, some never return for quite some time. Is there a list of bannable offenses with the amount of time you will be banned for. When you ban posters do you let them know how long and for what they were banned for?

Chick, I was born with no fingers, just wings(you can relate). Can you give a straight answer on bannings in general? I'm new at this and I don't want to get outta line. Thanks, great site by the way.

Many guys that are posters on TD work here. We were talking about banning(one guy told me he was banned) and no one new the answers.

Yes, it's allowed. Just unusual that you would register around the same time that the user you share an IP address with was banned.

Depends on the severity of the offense. If someone is a little irate after a loss and is flaming the board, we may ban them for a couple days or weeks. If someone deliberately posts porn on the board, the user is gone for good.

Admins typically (or should) inform the user regarding why they are being banned. We don't tell them how long they will be banned for.

I'm new here. I noticed every one here is a big Lsu fan. My kids will be going to Lsu next fall. My new co-workers turned me onto this site. They warned me I will catch hell for giving allegiance for another team on TD. So now I'm a Tiger fan!

Thanks Dingo! My co-worker wants to know how long he can expect to be banned. The Jackson family is referring to the Barbe recruit. My wife works with a wife of a Barbe coach and I have some info, but I don't want to be banned for it.

Welcome to the site.
Please review the guidelines and don't break the rules. As for your banned co-worker, ask him to e-mail Chicken to be reinstated. Though his banning may be for a long time considering what he did.

I would explain, but it might take a while about the e-mail address. My daughter said she would "help me" with setting up a e-mail since I don't know to much about computers. That is the e-mail address she gave me. It was a pay-back for a joke I played on her.

once you get suspended, keep emailing the admins asking for forgiveness. It has worked for me in the past.
