I typically try to move indoors in the colder months, but this isn't your typical year.
I'm looking to buy some gear for running/biking in the colder weather. Anybody got in recommendations?

Where do you live? I typically move outside with a smile on my face in the winter.

Buy the foot warmer packs hunters put in their boots and put them on top of you foot at your toes after putting your wool socks on. I can ride in 30 degree weather with no booties where as before I discovered that trick, even with booties and double wool socks, my feet would freeze. Then a good wind blocker jacket and lobster claw mittens your set. For your head, I wear a cross-country ski cap which has a mesh dome so your head doesn't sweat and the chill you. Leg tights of course

Good idea on the foot packs. I'll have to try that. Thanks

A good base layer is must. Under Armor make them for cold or hot, the one for cold is thicker. These modern materials wick moisture while creating a layer of insulating still air on the skin. It is modern thermal underwear that fits snugly and both breathes and dries quickly. There are many brands just make sure to get the one designed for cold weather.
