Does anyone have any recommendations on how or what to use to alleviate pain and soreness, in the knees specifically? My mom is in her 50’s, has had ACL surgery in one of her knees in the last 5 years, and she’s constantly experiencing pain in her knees from simple day to day movements like going up and down the stairs. She refuses to use CBD, despite any of my efforts. Need some other ideas. Thanks!

I would try to get her to start some physical therapy and when it concludes, she should faithfully do the exercises they give her when they release her. Also, ask them about aqua therapy. A lot of the ladies at my gym use the therapy pool a lot for aches and pains. If she is in Baton Rouge, I highly recommend that you look into Women's Center for Wellness (I absolutely love working out there) and their medical rehab program that will transition her to the gym to continue with the exercises. Lastly, if she happens to be over weight, losing weight will help tremendously. Hope she can get some relief.

She was doing aqua therapy after the surgery but hasn’t been for quite a while. She’s also pretty stubborn about not exercising in general, which is concerning to me because she does need to lose weight, but I can’t convince her she should start living a healthier lifestyle.

I know you can only recommend, but keep recommending. Maybe one day she will listen to you. She could have some arthritis in the knee also. Maybe try to get her in an Arthritis program. In BR the Arthritis Foundation has them regularly. BioFreeze and Castiva are pretty good for aches and pains and Tumeric is also supposed to help with inflammation. I understand where you are coming from because in spite of my best efforts, I could not get my mother to quit smoking. She died at 78. Every illness she had was related to smoking. Good luck with your mom. I hope she eventually takes some of your advice.

There is a supplement called Zyflamend that really helps with soreness. Take 2 caps once daily on a regular basis.

Get some gummies, put them in a vitamin bottle and see if it helps.
