Anyone participate in personal training one-on-one or group training in this area? Looking for a new one since work just brought me here.

SImilar to boot camp. Not crossfit though. A cross between group training with HIIT and trainer monitoring with weights and the like...

Look up Bam Fitness on Airline Dr. it’s one of the few group settings that uses weights that isn’t Crossfit. Classes are small so you’ll get attention from trainer, tho I’m sure he offers 1 on 1 too.

There are more and more places around that offer this type of training, I would definitely check out a few places before signing up for anything long term.
I do have one recommendation, type Cypress Fitness in the Lower Garden District and ask for Brian. Really good trainers and people there.

I haven’t taken the class personally but know some clients who have been pleased with the results.
