ive a brother who suffered a terrible foot injury in a skiing accident ~20 years ago. the doctors at the time called it a "roofers break" IIRC. for years after he moved well, but the last 8 years his pain has progressively worsened. as an aside, hes stubborn as hell. He works on the family farm in a blue collar laborer role and continues to wear western boots exclusively, and has rejected attempts ive made over the years to help him. i once bought him a pair of no-drop xero shoes and bought him an ATG tibialis bar. i was trying to get him anything to help him help himself. he rejected both of those attempts

are there any SLA PTs this board recommends for someone like this? he just recently expressed the pain is bad enough to seek some help. TIA

Sounds like you’re more worried about it than he is. I get wanting to help a loved one, but you can’t help someone that’s not willing to help themselves.
