Red Light Therapy

Does anyone do this and does it actually do anything? My gym has a full body red light therapy machine and it’s free to use with my membership so I’m curious if there’s any point in taking advantage of it.

I'm getting a red light face mask and I am eager to try it. I'll post updates once I have it. I'd definitely be up for trying red light therapy for recovery as well but don't think that option is available to me right now.

Surprisingly led therapy works and is backed by studies, at least for clear skin. The waves attenuate quickly, so they have to be right on your skin. Blue and other colors are beneficial too.

What is the brand?
What is the design? Table top? Wall mount? Bed?
Is it just Red or is there Near IR?
LED therapy has to be very close for the radiance (in mW) to penetrate the tissue and help you recover. If you post up too far, its topical, at best, with zero tissue penetration.

I honestly don’t know the answers to these questions so I’ll have to look into it. All I know is that it looks like one of those spray tan booths that you stand in.

Ok..
There are conversions for those to LED systems out there.
I’d be curious to see the mW radiance near the location where you are standing.
I have a handheld device I use when testing potential LED devices out.

I bought one about 18 months ago. It’s a big panel. I use it daily. Got it off of Ali Express from the same supplier that supplies one of the big boys. I forgot which one but I did research.
