Recommend a doctor in Katy TX

I have posted this before, but now with a health and fitness board I thought I'd give it a shot here. Recently our family GP went with MDVip. This is a concierge physician service. Would cost us $2000 a head for our family to be his patient for a year. No hard feelings. He's a nice guy and good doc, but I can't justify that cost for the 3-6 visits a year for the yearly illness and my follow up for meds (a statin and anxiety meds).

I've went to two different docs since. One I just didn't like the guy. Seemed shifty, maybe just me. The second is his office in name only apparently. I've been 3 times and have only seen an NP or PA. I am a nurse. I have no problem seeing an NP but I've never been a new patient and not been able to see the MD (I requested this specifically once).

This is suburbia man? You can't throw a rock at Provincial Drive and not hit a doctors office. I am in the medical field and am having trouble finding a guy? It's crazy.

Any thoughts/ideas? I will hang up and listen.
