Muscle Strain in upper back/neck area

I was in a hurry at the gym yesterday, and I rushed my warm up. I paid for it with a nice little strain in my upper back and neck in between my spine and shoulder blade. I iced it down last night, but it is killing me this morning. Does anyone know good techniques to heal this as fast as possible. I have a golf tournament tomorrow that I'm locked in for, so I need some miracle work.

If you are pretty sure you did no real damage, I would just rest it as much as you can and eat some ibuprofen to mask the pain.
May be too acute for massage to help, but may could grab one of those quick 20 minute massages in the morning on the way to the course.

I believe it is just a strain. It feels like I slept wrong and have a crick in my neck, but I know it is a strain from working out because I felt it on the way down of my last standing press.

If that is the case I would go get some soft tissue work today and tomorrow morning. Wouldnt cost much of anything and not too much time.

Ice and anti-inflammatory. Get it really warmed up before any additional work in the area.
That's pretty much all you can do for a strain in a timeline like you lay out.

Advil, warm up, lacrosse ball static holds on the area, and Tiger Balm.
