HRV and working from home..

In March, I accepted a position that is 100% at home for the foreseeable future.
My workouts suffered since I’m not close to my gym so I would be lucky to make 2 workouts per week. I am trying to do more at home, and make at least 3 CF workouts at the gym, but it’s hot AF right now for the home workouts.
My average HRV has dropped nearly 50% since my recorded February average.
Does anyone believe there is a correlation?

I worked out like crazy when I was working from home last summer. Mostly body weight stuff though.
I just had to get up and do something or else I would have went crazy.
If you are not making the gym regularly, start investing in some home equipment.
You can wreck yourself with a pull up bar, sandbag, weighted vest, and a few KBs

Oh. I’m fully loaded here. The garage was a mess for a while and it’s organized again. The only thing missing is a ski erg and trueform runner.
Started 45 min of early AM cardio at home: Rower, Assault Bike, Elliptical
Lunch time Strength, Oly or Gymnastics training
Evening workout at the CF gym
It’s WZA prep time. I’ll let you know if my HRV ticks back up with the increased volume.

HRV lowers with age as sympathetic system takes over. This is just a correlation with aging? Is it even known if that is bad, it may be necessary for aging. Is keeping it high better, or temporary variability bad? Seems it’s highly promoted to sell blog ads and apps, but no hard science on how to use it. I have seen some very nuanced studies like HRV and outcomes of heart failure patients weeks after hospitalized, but nothing broad.

He aged by 50% in the last 6 months?

The uptick in workouts has upped the average night time HRV to close to where it was in March.
We will see if it continues a steady climb with the increase in workouts.
BP was 102/78 today, too.
