Has anyone seen blunt force trauma to a muscle that tears it?

Friend sent me a picture of his upper bicep and it looks like a huge divot (like someone took a bite out of the long head bicep) in his arm.

I tore the long head tendon in both arms and he asked how it looked when it happened, but it looks nothing like his arm.

He slipped and reached out, guillotined his upper arm across the top of a chair right on the upper part of the bicep and it now looks like he has a huge dent in it.

Tendons are all attached
