I have it and basically there’s no option other than surgery. Has anyone gone through the surgery? If so, how was the rehab?

It significantly depends on where exactly the lesion is, how big it is, and what exact surgery they do (microfracture, OATS, ACI, etc.)

Mine surgeries were years ago. I had two scopes done and I just know they cleaned it up. The first surgery they had me stay off of it for 2 months. I was young and they were hoping to improve the recovery by keeping weight off of it. Second surgery was about 5 yrs later and seems like I was back walking on it in a few days and running in just a couple of weeks.
