Focus of eating lifestyle (diet) should be on metabolic health, not weight

It's quite doable to be a skinny person with a complete metabolic shitshow under the hood. And obesity is largely a result and not a cause. I support choosing an eating lifestyle which minimizes negative metabolic outcomes. I further believe that a (very) low carbohydrate diet is advisable for most humans. Obviously, there is great variation per individual. But the fact remains: your body has no essential requirement for ingested carbohydrate. None. If you eat properly, your weight will handle itself.
