Any of you ever heard of this ole guy out of Shreveport? He is a HIT trainer - fairly old school lifter. I found him on the Corporate Warrior Podcast
Part One
Part two, more on his business

Yes, I've heard of him. He even trained me for a bit at the YMCA when I took strength training classes there as kid. He's quite a character.
BTW, it's HIT (High Intensity Training), not HIIT (High Intensity INTERVAL Training). They are two totally different training modalities.

When I had someone to do static contraction training with I made very quick gains doing incredibly little work. It is nearly impossible to find someone to do SCT
... but you have to have someone or else you can't get the weight in the right spots. IDK if SCT counts as HIT

I have listened to part one of his podcast interview, I still need to hear part two, even though it's more about his personal training business and less on training & programming.

He used to train back at the old Southfield YMCA in Shreveport when I was there back in the late Eighties. High intensity guy. He trained a good friend of mine and was relentless.
