I got a severe cold that lead to a respiratory infection that lasted about a week and a half, then to cap it off as I was finally recovering from that I got food poisoning. So I haven't lifted heavy in about 2.5 weeks at this point.

Thinking I should deload 10% going back in? That drops my squats back down to 290ish. Anyone have any experience coming back after an extended illness? How was recovery? I can always take a scoop of pre-workout and grip it and rip it.

Punish yourself with super high volume and eat a cake afterwards.

It won’t take you too long to get back. 2.5 weeks is much better than 2.5 years. You’ll be surprised but you may not even drop that far. If you do dip back, I’d bet it takes you 2-4 weeks to be back to where you were
